As our first tentative return to competitive tennis, we here at Templeogue are delighted to announce we will be participating in the ITF World Tennis Number initiative. The event is a casual singles Round Robin Fast Four format, open to all club players from 12 and up.

Round Robins are in pods of 3-5 players of similar levels, ageless & genderless, based on the ITF World Tennis Number.

Free to enter through the below link, entry is open until the 18th of May and play starts May 24th and runs until June 6th.

How Will This World Tennis Number Club Round Robin Work?

1. Simply enter online from the 11Th of May HERE, selecting your club. • This World Tennis Number activity is free to enter.
2. Online entry will be open from the 11th to the 18th of May.
3. Once online entry is closed, Tennis Ireland will then organise multiple Round Robin groups of 3 to 5 players, within each participating club. These groups will be made up of players of a similar level irrespective of gender/age, and we will use the World Tennis Number in the background to help us make them.
4. All games will be played in your own club.
5. Groups will be published on https://ti.tournamentsoftware.com/.
6. Standard club restrictions will apply
   • Book a court as normal.
   • Organise your own games and contact each other following standard club procedures.

When does it take place?

Play starts May 24th and runs until June 6th. You will have the 2 weeks to play, no penalties for not playing though we hope everyone that signs up will.

Anything different about Juniors?

All communications to and from Juniors with other players must be done by their parents/guardians as per standard Child Safeguarding guidelines. So when registering the contact number should be that of the parent/guardian. Standard club regulations and Covid restrictions continue to apply with regards to supervision. All juniors should have a parent or guardian present for all games, irrespective of their opponent.
