TTC has a great tradition of raising funds for Brother Kevin through annual carol singing. We have raised over €100,000 in previous years. As it is not possible to sing in Stephen’s Green Centre this year, we will raise funds for Brother Kevin's great work feeding the poor and homeless through our own club.
You are invited to join a group of 14 to sing Christmas carols on the balcony for approximately 45 minutes on Saturday December 12th and Saturday December 19th at any one of these time slots: 3pm, 4pm and 5pm.
This will be a fun event with no rehearsal, choir membership, or experience needed. All singers of any standard are welcome. If you play any instrument, you are also welcome to join in and play, just come along and enjoy. A live band will back the singers.
To participate, all volunteers are asked to raise €50-€100 from family, friends, work colleagues etc. There is no upper or lower limit, please just raise as much as you can for this very worthy cause. All members who are unable to participate are asked to donate if possible.
How will this work?
Small, socially distanced groups of 14 will sing carols on the club balcony, with no spectators, for 45 minutes at a specified time slot: 3pm / 4pm /5pm on both Saturday December 12th or Saturday December 19th. Each participant is asked to target sponsorship of €50-€100 but really there is no min or max.
Volunteers are asked to register immediately with Cathy Medbury 087 293 5890 or Eileen Keating 087 226 9892 and indicate your preferred date and time slot.
We hope to talk to club members to encourage as many as possible to join in and support the fundraising event.
(It is important to note that the carol singing groups will be following COVID regulations and all carol singers will be wearing masks. Thank you in advance for your support.)
Donations (including sponsorship collected by singers) can be made in any of the following ways:
