Templeogue Tennis Club is delighted to announce that Colin O'Brien has been appointed to the role of Head of Performance Coaching. 

On behalf of the club I would like to welcome Colin to Templeogue Tennis Club and look forward to working with him, our Head Coach Kathryn Leonard, and our tennis committees to drive our on court development and performance. We are looking forward to converting the energy and enthusiasm that welcomes Colin's appointment into fun and success across all our tennis levels"

Colin has a highly impressive CV of tennis achievement and performance coaching. See some of the high lights below:

Coaching Experience

• Head Coach of the Under 18 high performance group in Tennis Ireland for 5 years
• Irish Davis Cup assistant coach 2019
• Individually coached 3 players to National singles titles at Fitzwilliam 
• Coached Georgia Drummy to a top 200 ITF Junior ranking and a place in the Australian Open Juniors in 2016
• Coached 3 players to ITF Under 18 singles titles 
• Coached 5 players to Irish National Team Call-ups
• Helped numerous players achieve college scholarships to the U.S.A. 

Playing Experience

• Played professional tennis for 6 years
• Achieved Career High ATP World Rankings of 599 in Singles and 331 in Doubles
• Winner of 9 professional titles
• Represented Ireland in the Davis Cup in 6 ties, winning 4 matches
• Captained college team to its highest ever NCAA Team Ranking
• Irish National Champion at Senior, Under 18 and Under 16 levels
